Hi Conner!

I’m sure he’s a solid player, but for 1/2m he’s not displacing our most talented player and biggest provider of chances. I was concerned when Davis was limping around the pitch yesterday, not thinking ‘oh good Townsend can get some minutes now’.

He’s literally been recruited to come in for Davis when injured. Why would anyone want that scenario?

Townsend will start in our third round FA Cup game.
