Serious answer: No. He looks good at exploiting poor teams and scoring worldies at the moment, but lacks an all round game or any defensive ability. He's the absolute epitome of a player who will do well at one level but be utterly useless at the next level up, and perhaps most important of all he gives every appearance of being a self-interested knob rather than a team player. I definitely wouldn't want him here even if we get relegated.

Don't think u need to worry about the boy Sainz joining you. Why would he? To do so might very well meaning playing in The Championship again next season so what's the point.
Even if u stay up (which you may well do incidentally), he will join a club way above your paygrade. Athletico Madrid are the favourites apparently.

Has there been any potential fees flying around? Not sure of his contract situation.

I think you're right in as much as he'd have a better chance of making it in La Liga than in the Premier League, but as I say I don't think he's got the all round game for top level football with the likes of Ipswich or Atlético.

He's probably best off sticking where he is, as disappointing as that may be to him.

Is he good enough? Needs to do it top end of the championship surely?

Huh?

He is playing in the Championship. It doesn’t matter where the team are, the opposition will be the same.

No where near good enough. He is mid table championship at best. Dont recall seeing him near any senior Spanish team ever. I think you are dreaming if you think he is any better than scoring a few against championship teams. Could be worth a couple of million which you will probably need to balance your books again, so you will have to sell to Leeds or perhaps Sunderland.

He he nice try, pretty sure if we can sign Omari and Jack Clarke we could have Sainz if we wanted him, doesn’t look strong enough or good enough at pressing for me.

The only Muff in Town.
