I wonder, - the towns are almost identical in size but I'd think being that little bit closer to London makes it slightly easier to attract (part-time) players.

Bury have never had a sugar daddy and exist from their own efforts. Their gates are worthy of a higher league but whether that is sufficient is debatable. Skuse has done a good job, employed back up staff who know the level but Bury should be at the top end of the league they are in with their attendances being double the average. | | | |

It is harsh in the sense that he’s certainly been a more popular figure than our chairman Mr Lee Harding. The club setup has been too poor for too long now. No youth setup. No investment into facilities etc. hopefully we can stay in this league somehow until the Chairman and the board are finally gone. |  |
