Yeah we've certainly been unlucky with injuries. Probably would be a few pts better off if KM had a full squad to choose from. Certainly have missed Hirst as our only decent back up forward (no offence to AAH but he's not ready for the prem), and Tuanzebe at the back. And other key players who've missed a few games. Deffo been a cursed season in terms of injuries. |  |

Hopefully will look better in the latter part of the season. We did sign a few with injuries and some continued into the season who had a few injuries last year too. I don't think we've lost anyone which has been a surprising injury. |  |

When they do the documentary in 10 years time about how McKenna guided the failing Man Utd to their first PL title in gawd knows how long, he will talk about how much he learnt during this season and how to manage a high intensity squad and their workload.
He'll also talk about how absurd it was that back in 2024 a squad had to manage with 25 players when they use 16 of them on match day, forcing some to play injured. That will have changed. |  | | |

Hirst is a bigger loss than I expected him to be. Delap has look tired and ineffective in the last 2 or 3 matches and Hirst would have started at least one of those games and came on earlier than AAH has. While not offering the same goal scoring threat as Delap he is better at bringing the likes of Omari and Szmods into the game. His importance to the team has only become apparent to me since he has been unavailable. [Post edited 10 Dec 2024 18:29]

He's had his fair share of injuries. Probably comes with the territory of being a rapid winger. But he's had knee. Ankle. Unknown injuries too. I think looking back he had a couple seasons where he managed a lot of games. But either side of those spells he had missed a fair few games from what i can see online. | |

If you click through to the premier injuries website, then they include Donacien under our injuries and he isn't even in our squad! So perhaps our injury minutes are overstated a bit. That could be the same for other clubs of course. |  | | |
