Good to see him having a decent season currently on loan at Stockport in League One with 14 goals.

Villa reportedly looking to send him to a higher level. Got me wondering if he’d be worth another look at potentially as a backup striker in Jan?

I think we have learnt quite quickly that going from Stockport to playing Arsenal and Chelsea is quite a big jump.

File under Jack Clarke.

why is it good to see him in particular having a good season?

He was a loan player who hardly played and when he did he was underwhelming. He has no particular connection with the club or fans.

He is someone who will at sometime get a mention in one of those 'people you forgot played for us' threads

I think its OK for someone to be pleased to see a former loan player doing well.

He didnt have the desired impact with us, but seemed to maintain a good attitude while here, despite not getting game time.

You miserable b*gger.

Macauley Bonnie? Kieffer Moore? Jack Marriott? Brett Pitman?
Just playing your lazy ex-player link game.

…as if Louis Barry is coming back here. More chance of Dozzell getting a start.
