Who ever finishes 3rd bottom 17:51 - Dec 12 with 1649 views | FrimleyBlue | With the potential of a man city relegation.. but then months of appeals... what does that mean for the club who finishes 3rd bottom. I know relegation doesn't seem likely but its still an option of what could happen to city. But just wondered how that effects whoever finishes 3rd bottom.

If the Prem try and relegate them then City will tie them up with legal challenges for years. At best the team in 18th could probably take action against them and receive some sort of settlement in several years time.

Or , the PL decide to only relegate Southampton, meaning only 1 can come up. Shame Leeds finish 2nd.

There's enough 'murcan owners to just say no relegation from now on. I'm sure the Arab owners will say yes. Their clubs don't live in the bottom half but I think they'd still be OK with that. I've always been fundamentally opposed to this idea but times change and you have to go with the flow.

Like it. Also, any side not in the top flight, who's club name begin with the letter N are relegated to the National League North. Seems fair.

Who ever finishes 3rd bottom on 19:29 - Dec 12 with 1278 views | BloomBlue | The PL won't relegate City. City is too big/rich and the PL need them as part of their cash cow. At the rate City are going at the moment they won't even qualify for the CL via the league this season. Perfect timing for the PL to fine them a points deduction which takes them from 7th to 15th. City wont care as they aren't interested in the non CL competitions. City happy and the PL can say we deducted points, City's slate cleaned. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It's very much the tactic of United Healthcare - delay, deny, die.
