The least specific thing you can say about the attacker was an assumption and that he is from the 91% of the world population that didn’t start life in Europe.

The issue here is the death and injuries to innocent people. This happens more and more often in this day and age. The fact is this is a tragic situation. The problem is, some people are far to eager to blame Muslim immigrants every time there is a terror attack. We rally should have learnt, after Anders Breivik murdered 77 Norwegians and the immediate reaction of many was to blame Islam. Attacks like his and the Christchurch Mosque attack are not blamed on Christianity, even though right wing terrorists often cite the loss of Christian culture and values as their motivation. |  |
