Gabriel Jesus stretchered off for Arsenal.
If he needs replacing that'll add to the already almighty churn for strikers this window.

I don't expect us to be in the same market as them. Talk of Gyokeres. I guess there is a degree of knock-on effect or the possibility of some Arsenal reserve striker no longer being available.

I don't understand why we haven't got him in or got someone else in early. It does seem like we are risking being in the position of hoping a deal doesn't fall through at the last minute again. There were rumours about Josh Maja at the start of the window weren't there?

It was stated that Boro would have accepted our offer in the summer if they had enough time to sign a replacement.

Of course, the rumours could have been untrue.

Yeah, was more meaning the knock on effect, obviously not directly against Arsenal.
No angst, just a little bit crazy that the last fortnight or so has seemingly seen injuries to at least 5 or 6 strikers around their respective premier league first teams just as the transfer window opens.
