Phoebe Schecter 21:19 - Jan 12 with 1919 views | CopfordBlue | Sky sports NFL. She’s the best female pundit of mens sport by a mile. She’s very knowledgeable, is a great communicator, makes great observations and provides excellent insights. She shows how it should be done.

Phoebe Schecter on 21:51 - Jan 12 with 1715 views | Asa | She’s excellent. As a Bills fan of 35 years I was first aware of her when she interned with us as at the time I don’t think there were any other female coaches and the rest of the staff said she was superbly impressive. She’s carried that on to the Sky coverage. Simply an excellent pundit.

Agreed. I think she is excellent as is Jason Bell. In fact all the NFL coverage team is good. Schecter was a coach of course for Buffalo so knows her stuff. Good team, the Bills. In with a real shout of winning it this time around. I’ve been following NFL since the early 80s and chose the Bears because they were the most rubbish. Still rubbish and have been for decades bar the 85 team. Mrs C likes the Vikings because of the kit colour and horn!? They were also rubbish when she first started enjoying it. She was taken by the line ‘I want the Vikings players to be pall bearers at my funeral so they can let me down one last time’. Her Minnesota baseball cap proved a great icebreaker amongst Americans when we were abroad! I know NFL is not everyone’s cup of tea but I like it. Chess with people.

Not that short, doesn’t help that rest of the presenters are 6ft++. Her size didn’t seem to hold her back from her playing career, especially considering she was a linebacker.
Phoebe Schecter on 22:36 - Jan 12 with 1456 views | DBaldy | Yeah I'd agree with that, and I would say all of the Sky NFL presenters/analysts are far better than the majority of their football counterparts.
Phoebe Schecter on 14:23 - Jan 13 with 1039 views | BlueForYou | Never been the same since Kevin Cadle died. I watch a lot of American Football & I dont find the current Sky presenters very good at all. I watch on GamePass to avoid them. Jason Bell in particular. I thought Jeff Rheinebold was going to smack him last week! Schecter wasnt in a hands on coaching role, it was more of a diversity role created by the NFL. Very well done to the Bills btw, from a Broncos fan! [Post edited 13 Jan 14:25]

A summary on Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoebe_Schecter It’s all opinions isn’t it. I like the Sky coverage and the presenters’ enthusiasm. Yes, it was sad when the very knowledgeable Kevin Cadle died. Broncos? I was in Colorado when they won their last Superbowl and who can ever forget the legendary John Elway who is now 64. Jeez. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Not wanting to be controversial or speak ill of the dead, but I was never a fan of Kevin Cadle. He was a basketball guy at heart and it seemed to me that Sky brought him in as a generic "he's American and knows a bit about the game" hire. He certainly improved over time, but in his early years he wasn't very good. Neil Reynolds is much better IMO, but I'm an X's and O's nerd when it comes to the NFL, so maybe he appeals more because of that. And Jason Bell can be annoying at times, but this weekends coverage was excellent - maybe cos he felt threatened by Ndamukong Suh!
