Quite funny how you're using the phrase "pretty basic" to patronise when you're wrong.
It may well be that the deal does get completed in a time frame that looks like they're connected, but this other transfer is not the reason for the ongoing delay |
That's not what is being suggested. Emery said they were delaying Malen coming in until Philogene was completed, and now he has completed despite that. We were their delay, not them being our delay. If we take what he said at face value you'd expect a transfer for Philogene (to us or elsewhere) to be wrapped up soon.
So you are right their transfer is not the cause of the ongoing delay, but that misses the point. |  |
