Judging by today's matchday squad (and those left out), our fitness/injury situation is beginning to settle. Is it perhaps time for McKenna to pick his preferred team and give them a run? Next week, like today, is a free hit - then we're into a huge February, with a solid week between most games.
I do worry that with the increased pressure on games/results, those who come in for one game are on a hiding to nothing. If they don't put in an 8/10 performance, they're likely to lose the shirt again.

I agree, but unlike the past couple of years, I bet everyone will have a slightly different idea for the settled line up. And I'm sure McKenna is leaning one way then the other as well. It's partly why Guardiola likes a small squad. |  |

Yes, for me there's too much chopping and changing. I know we've suffered with injuries and I understand when we have games in quick succession like the 2 this week but we're making 4-5 changes every game, which really can't help with the team understanding each others game. |  | | |

I don't think you play the same team against Liverpool as you do against Southampton.
Against Liverpool you want an "Emirates" type of line up. Against Southampton, far more attacking. |  |

Or an entire 'last season XI' if we wanted to as well.
Walton, Tuanzebe, Woolfenden, Burgess, Burns, Morsy, Taylor, Davis, Hutchinson, Broadhead, Hirst
