Straight shootout with Wolves I think 23:06 - Jan 20 with 2028 viewsitfcsuth

If, and it’s a big if, we can place ourselves 17th this season, it will a significant milestone in the clubs history.

Wolves of course have the individual talent, but Town have that togetherness that cannot be bought.

Lemina out for his attitude, and tonight Victor Pereira publicly criticising Cunha, which won’t end well.

I still think west ham may be dragged in. They need to buy a couple of strikers before this window closes otherwise they will drop. Wolves probably have enough to stay up. Leicester and saints down for me. Man United still look vulnerable too.

Wolves look so bad at the back, and with an horrendous 6 games coming up we need to create a gap

Man united and West Ham will be nowhere near relegation imo, we know how hard it is to get points and they have 10 point gaps to us

I wouldn’t rule Everton out just before they won a football match.

At some point we’ll have to win some too.

I was going to make a post on this saying similar but you've beat me to it!

I thought the same after watching them last night. They concede about 3 a game and defending set pieces they are all over the shop. It really is going to be a straight shootout with them. I thought Everton may get dragged in because they struggle to score a goal but need to watch them over the next few games to see if that Spurs result was a one off or Moyes has given them life going forwards.

Wolves going forwards have their flashes. They ended the first half better and got the goal they deserved last night, but like you said about Cunha, I can't see that ending well. I think he will be one to move on this window now and they can forget about him signing a new deal.

Poll: If selling Jackson meant getting in a wide man, would you be happy with Garbutt?

I think there's a difference between Palace who, Arsenal hammering aside, have been on a sustained run of form and merely winning a couple of matches. The latter has obviously been good for West Ham, Everton, us and Wolves recently but, so far at least, it's not enough.

Also worth reflecting that that Palace - Arsenal game shows that even much better teams than us will get thrashed occasionally in this division.

Chalobah might be quite a big miss for Palace, will be interesting to see how that goes.

Yep, that's where we are. We can do it. Our home form needs to improve and there are winnable games ahead.

Not as simple as that. If Leicester put a couple of wins together, that could pull both of us into the mire. We need to be aiming to close the 8-10 point gap and bring other teams into the mix (Everton, Spurs, WHam, ManU). Create more of a buffer.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

I think Palace so far have shown that they can beat the teams around them at the bottom, so I think they'll be alright. They haven't actually lost a lot of games in comparison to others below them.
