Careful what you wish for - that could also mean all future episodes cancelled! Re-runs forever.
The main character is going bold here; saying he was saved by God to save America. All the tech bros in the fancy seats make for an interesting subplot. As does Barron playing the role of Damien from the Omen movies.

Not sure I want to get hooked on something where I have to wait 4 years for the next season
edit - but yes I am watching of course. Can't believe anyone would miss it.
For those not following - Trump is now prez, as of about 30 seconds ago.

I can't watch it, as I think my swearing levels would go too high. There are only so many times you can say 'oh f#ck off you massive c#nt' before it starts to lose it's impact.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun.
I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Can someone explain in layman’s terms what an Executive order? Can he basically do what he wants?
If so, it seems odd that in the Land of the Free, someone can act like a dictator and appoint their own judges.
Pretty much that. They are subject to legal challenge (bear in mind the Supreme Court is stuffed with Trump appointees) and must not go against the law or constitution. But they're basically directing government departments how they should operate.
The Supreme Court made the extraordinary ruling last year that the President (acting in an official capacity) can pretty much do what he wants, legal or otherwise, anyway. So all bets are off.
It's all about what you are prepared to believe rather than what happens. You only have to cast your mind back a short time to Johnson and a bit further back to Blair where people were took in hook, line and sinker. Sadly when things ain't going the way people want they clutch at the straws offered in the belief that "Things can only get better". They never do. Britain may have moved on from when I was growing up in the 50's and 60's but I can tell you although people had less they were far happier.

Had less? They had council houses, or they could buy a house at 3 times their annual salary. They usually had a job for life that allowed them to raise a family and feed their children. They had less technology because it didn't exist, so they didn't miss it. They could afford for the woman to stay at home and be there for their children when they came home from school.
The struggles were different because the world was different. I wouldn't want to be an average teenager or young adult today.

I chose to miss it, didn’t think it would do my blood pressure much good to watch the orange felon smirking at having finally conned his way back to the Throne of Power.
Proved the correct option - just hearing his inauguration speech reported on the 6pm news had me shouting at the radio. Literally everything he says is a lie.
Speech was like some kind of Parody of what it would be like if a compulsive liar with an unchecked ego and no integrity was elected to be President of the USA. If it wasn't so disastrous for the USA and much of the world it would be funny. Scary times. He's an idiot

Not sure he conned his way back in. He told people exactly what he would do and the people re-elected him which is even worse!
