Low Block? Burgess for me, Morsy just shades it, Axel is the difference on 15:15 - Jan 22 with 462 viewsunstableblue

I think for the low Block and given current form Burns would be in my 11 for away games, Encisco as sub. Having said that Hutchison is actually quite good at tracking back - and I like him on the right. And Encisco played no 10 at Norwich.

Just think Burgess is in better form than Greaves and a safer pair of hands

I think on paper and in many ways I woukd be starting Kalvin Phillips, but I just think Morsy is giving more as this time

Axel is the main man as RB or RCB - he's the difference and what we've been lacking - Johnson AND Godfrey were exposed Sunday, but I suppose it was a Man City team finding form.

Muric
Axel OShea Burgess Davis
Morsy Cajuste
Hutchinson Encisco Jaden
Delap

Morsys legs are gone I'm afraid. I think you've got to give KP a run in the side now.

Not to mention he didn't lay a glove on city seemed to be lack of aggression, Phillips Cajuste,

I'll be greedy and go for three variations:

1. Against lower/mid opponents - we set the pattern (nominal 4-2-3-1):
--------------------Muric
--Axel----O'Shea-------Greaves-----Davis
-------------Morsy------Cajuste
--Omari------Enciso-------Jaden
----------------------Delap

2. Against tougher opponents - low block and counter when we can (skewed 5-2-2-1):
--------------------Muric
Godfrey--O'Shea--Woolfenden--Burgess
-------------Morsy------Cajuste-----------Davis
------Omari------------------------Jaden
----------------------Delap

3. Against midfield dominatrixes(!) like 115 Citeh - flood the midfield and block (deep 4-3-3):
--------------------Muric
--Axel------O'Shea-----Burgess------Davis
--------Phillips--Morsy----Cajuste-----
------Omari--------Delap-------Jaden

I think there's a good argument that this is currently our strongest team:

WALTON

TUANZEBE
O'Shea
BURGESS

BURNS
MORSY
Cajuste
DAVIS

HUTCHINSON
BROADHEAD

Delap

Only 3 newbies

I would go with exactly this (although Chaplin in place of Burns and Woolfenden for Tuanzebe sometimes, based on the opposition). Philogene, Godfrey and Enciso should have to force their way in with good performances off the bench, but I wouldn’t play them from the start automatically.

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!
