On whether the goals his side conceded were soft: "They were. The first goal is a goal kick and it is probably the first time that they entered our box and it should be saved as well. Two poor goals."

Not saying KMc is wrong to say this, but calling out Muric for his error is an unusual thing for McKenna to do.

With Walton injured, it's stating the obvious, but McKenna knows we've got a massive goalkeeping issue.

I don’t blame anybody for Muric being in goal yesterday and doing Muric things. Slicker would have been a huge risk to throw him in too.

It’s the fact we persisted with him for so long that has really hurt us. Why we didn’t put Walton back in before the Chelsea game will be one of those things that I’m not sure I’ll ever understand.

Even before yesterday, Muric had cost us 4-6 points by my quick maths. Make that 7-10 after yesterday. He’s absolutely killed us.

Eight millions English pounds spent on him.

I reckon we’d do well to make back £500k after this season.

Any signing can go wrong and if the data analytics they got on him were from a trust worthy source, I don’t really have an issue with that.

As I said in my post though, along with a couple of other things, the decision to persist with him until Christmas has really really hurt us in my opinion.

Credit KM for wanting to stand by his guy but ‘kin ell - that has to have limits surely!

Did you see his face after the goal? He was seething.

Not sure playing Slicker would be a risk, for one thing those in front of him would be protective.

The biggest downer for me was how easy we made it for a poor team, lacking in confidence, to hang on for 10 minutes without having to put too much effort in.

Interesting point re Slicker, but I’d argue that others in our team were shot of confidence by that point too.

Don’t understand why Hirst wasn’t brought on earlier.
