What is the worst road surface near you? 14:34 - Feb 2 with 1025 views

I propose this shocker:

We drive along the A1124 between Halstead and Colchester to get to Ipswich and this corner as you come up to Fordstreet is appalling, and has been for ages. Give it another few years and something may be done about it. It's not like it's a main road or anything.

I visit people for work over Rushmere way quite regularly and the roads on Renfrew, Selkirk etc are absolutely hideous.

Murray Road (between Felixstowe and Nacton Rd) basically had a sinkhole untreated for what seemed like years up until fairly recently too.

I concur with Hawthorn Drive above too.

Nothing as bad as that. Whenever I pop over the border, it’s pretty obvious how much worse the roads are. We’re not great over here compared to say 10 years ago, but we tend not to have canyons running down the middle of the roads.

But you're right, it doesn't actually show up quite how bad it is. Driving in the opposite direction around that bend is perhaps even worse.

There's plenty like that round here, the A1141 through Brent Eleigh, Monks Eleigh, Kersey comes to mind, parts of the A131 before and after Halstead and parts of the A134.
