Does anyone know how much input KMc has on transfers?
I know he has final sign-off before a player joins, but with the exception of perhaps Taylor and Philogene, I don't think he actually identifies players. My understanding is he gives our recruitment team the player profile details and they find players that meet his criteria.
I guess my point is, surely when it came to replacing Hladky, the profile would have included: comfortable with the ball at his feet, must not have brain farts etc. I just can't believe that McKenna actually watched Muric play for Burnley. |  | | |  |

A lot of players we sign are players that played academy football at the same time as he was involved in it - Muric and Delap at City, Scarlett at Tottenham, Clarke at Arsenal, other Clarke at Leeds etc. I’d never spotted it until a mate pointed it out to me the other day but there is a weird trend where most of our English signings seem to be the same age | | | |
