Ok, so we play with two and we’ve still got Enciso, Sammie and at a push Broady or Chappers who can fill in. |
Excepting we have seen that script before and it wasnt a good one, those options didnt particularly work.
It would be frustrating if Enciso works out well, but we have to switch him into a secondary position after 60 mins every game and shuffle around. |  | | |

Not convinced his (soon to be former) agent's account of events was entirely accurate. Certainly got the impression on the day that Town moved on from it fairly quickly and that Broja was still the most likely recruit of the two. In the end that was a lucky escape.

Could understand on that basis we just decided he wasnt worth it right at that point, but we have shown previously to be quite specific about targets and following through on them.
Given he evidently fitted the profile and was clearly available and probably attainable, it doesnt make much sense. Especially given that we dont seem to have identified anyone else.
Can only assume there is someone we have in mind that will come available in the summer and we are being a bit strategic. We are going to likely be back in a position where we need two again next summer. | | | |
