I enjoyed Civ 1 and loved Civ 2. Didn't like Civ3 and was unaware that 4,5,6 and now 7 exist!

As with every single Civ game, it's not great and then they fix it with DLCs at which point it's much better.

Just in time for the next Civ game to come out.

Love Civ. Played every one and looking forward to 7. Yes some damning by feint praise going on. I have to say, I don't like the sound of the disjoint between the three ages, sounds like you lose some of your good work in the previous age. Hope they haven't attempted to solve a non-existent problem: losing interest mid-game due to being overpowered by a rival Civ. That's what saving regularly and restoring was for!
