I remember Osman was actually quite useful but had a rugby background I think
Russell Osman- WBA (H) 1/11/80 -- Paul Cooper off - Drew 0-0
Clive Woods- Leeds United (A) 7/4/79- Paul Cooper injured his hand just before half time - Clive Woods took his place but Cooper returned for the 2nd half
Alan Hunter- WBA (A)16/3/77 - Laurie Sivell went off for 5 minutes. Alan Hunter deputised for him in that time
Trevor Whymark- Aston Villa (A) 6/3/76 - Laurie Sivell went off in the last minute
Trevor Whymark- WBA (H) 3/10/70 - David Best went off inured in the 83rd minute when the score was 2-2. The score finished 2-2
Ted Phillips- Chelsea (A) 22/2/64 - Jim Thorburn injured. Funnily enough it was Ted Phillips last game in a Town shirt. & he finished it as a goalkeeper in a 4-0 defeat.
Bill Baxter- Arsenal (A) 5/10/63 - Roy Bailey went off injured. We lost this fixture 6-0 But not sure what minute Bailey left the field.
Ted Phillips- WBA (A) 9/3/63 - Wilf Hall went off injured with a dislocated shoulder after 10mins when the score was 0-0. We ended up losing 6-1.
Four of those games above where the keeper had to be replaced were against WBA. :/
