Could Leif play Infront of Townsend on the left.... 22:28 - Mar 3 with 1166 views | BlacknGoldnBlue | Would make us a bit more secure that side...and no other player has made that position theirs.....

Could Leif play Infront of Townsend on the left.... on 22:37 - Mar 3 with 1117 views | Chris_ITFC | Sorry, no. This is one of the biggest myths / most misunderstood theories on here. He basically ended up LW against United, and he got hooked, despite being our most creative player this season. It just doesn’t work when he starts high, all of his best work is when he runs from deep.

Could Leif play Infront of Townsend on the left.... on 23:19 - Mar 3 with 977 views | eddiespearitt03 | I agree it is worth a try. Conor Townsend is a far better left back. Far more reliable.

Could Leif play Infront of Townsend on the left.... on 00:05 - Mar 4 with 882 views | BondiBlue | Here's a mad idea by BondiBlue 6 Feb 6:28We've lost burns and ogbene and have no high right winger who's right-footed.
What if we do the exact opposite and play with a high left-footed left winger. Leif becomes wes burns. Then you'd have to do the opposite to what we currently do with full backs. The right-sided full back needs to overlap and the left needs to stay home like tuanzebe does now. Johnson right back, greaves left back, which gives us a good excuse to play cam burgess next to o'shea again.
Genius. | |

Could Leif play Infront of Townsend on the left.... on 00:08 - Mar 4 with 874 views | ArnieM | Davis SHOULD play in front of Townsend. Clarke is frankly, powder puff, and Broadhead seemingly constantly out of favour. But that would mean McKenna adapting/ changing . Hmmm ....

Could Leif play Infront of Townsend on the left.... on 00:45 - Mar 4 with 833 views | Blue_In_Boston | Yes, otherwise I'm not sure where you play Davis, defensively he has been found out and our weakest link. My caveat would be that he is obviously tasked with pushing up on the left hand side but he doesn't have that instinct orr reaction to danger. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Well how about Townsend playing on the left of midfield with Leif as full but with full licence to bomb forward leaving Townsend as cover.... anyway the rate we are going through players they might both HAVE to play!
