Yep, exactly the same issue. Eventually made it back on at colsterworth. Thought we were cursed to cruise the village lanes of Leicestershire for eternity. Never seen google maps get it so wrong. | | | |

Got home at 02.30. Needed a break at Toddington Services where there were two Forest fans from the next village. Decent chaps.

I always use Apple maps and that was fine, diverted us cross country for the A52 closure and got us to the A1 at Grantham from the A607. |  |

We followed two coaches a mini van and lots of cars all the way from Nottingham to south of Oakham and thought they were Ipswich but said they couldn’t be unless they were lost 🤣 | | | |

I think I got routed around a closure ( although it may have just been that I turned the wrong way out of the station car park) as I came on the A50, but ended up crossing through deepest darkest derbyshire, which was much more pleasant that the mind numbing boredom of the A50/M6 route.... Home in Manchester by 12:30 which was much better than I thought it was going to be when we went to extra time. | |
