Aye, I understand why they do it from a commercial point of view as it yields massive results currently but the relentless focus on him and at times patronising PR opportunities dressed up to try and make him appear as an ‘everyman’ is a bit wearing.
I overheard a Preston supporter describe us as ‘Ed Sheeran FC’ last season. Awful thing to boil our great club down to but you can bet he isn’t alone in that view. |  | | |

I've got a programme from every town game I've ever been to.
It's something that my dad always did and I've got them for my boy too.

Same here. And at the Etihad a lot of fans had them, they are a souvenir at the bigger clubs also. I've never been a fan of digitising magazines and memorabilia, forums are great though!  |  |

To my mind, it's all been going downhill since they stopped adding in the Football League Review in the late 90s. | |
