if you're going to go wing-backs, why pick townsend over davis? apparently, davis has created a third of our chances and we need goals!

My argument would be Johnson is better going forward than defensively so we'd probably look to push forward slightly more on that flank, which means we would need to be more solid on the left. Almost the opposite to our usual approach of attempting to be solid on the right, with Tuanzebe there, and Davis on the left.

As shown against Forest in a cup, Townsend isn't a purely defensive full back/wing back either.
