I’d absolutely take that if you offered it to me. 1 it means we get W #4 of the season and 2 we would keep the ‘dream’ alive a bit longer. If we go in to Wolves home where by a win takes us 3 points from them (with a worse GD) then it gives us something to go at. Either way it’s unlikely, but I’d absolutely take us both winning today. |  | | |

Southampton are absolutely dross at home (and away for that matter). Dreadful, placid crowd to play in front of and their results at St Mary’s are horrible. Cant see anything but an away win to be honest, Wolves are miles better than them. The way I see it is if we match them over the next 2 and then beat them at PR that’s about the best (semi realistic) outcome we could hope for and I’d snap your hand off for it now. Would take us into the final 7 games 3 points adrift of them, knowing May sees us face sides that will largely be ‘on the beach’. I still give us a 1% chance of survival, but if we’ve halved the gap after we play Wolves that might jump to 10%. | | | |
