I noticed a number of times, when Woolfie was trying to invite the non-existent press, when JP was wide open on the wing and screaming for the ball. He never got it though.
It baffles me why we're neglecting an element of our play (the swift ball out to the advanced wide positions) that has been so instrumental in our performances in L1/Champ. |  |

I think expectation levels for Philogene have been elevated by the fact that we went to so much trouble to sign in, and so far he's done nothing, but he has come into a bad situation. Hutch, Delap and Enciso spent the first half running into defenders, and then in the second half it looked like Leif Davis and Philogene were speaking different languages. | | | |

Likewise Enciso can only turn left like bloody Zoolander it seems. Had JP open several times between yesterday and Palace and looked to play a return or go alone every time, instead of spreading it out to JP.

True he made a few spins and runs and woolfy looked left all the time,
I do think forest doubled up a lot in this game to stifle him omari and Phillips, the amount of space Davis and greaves had was incredible but both have little confidence in playing football atm that forest could let have the ball knowing it was only go sideways or backward, |  | | |

I really liked philogene yesterday first half at least He defended really well and was a big part in why we were nice and solid for the opening spell. You are correct He was ignored alot and then when he got the ball he had barely any options.
What I found really bizarre yesterday. Wolfy stood on the ball. Fine. We've done that before. Even Palmer did so too. Our two cms both dropped deep covered by two NF players. Off camera. What were our forward line doing? Was anyone making runs up the lines for the diag etc? |  |
