Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Starting to loathe them, probably slightly unreasonably.

I begrudgingly accept they make their own luck

Sels 6.5M, so much value in the European top divisions.

There we go. Break the rules, get a nominal punishment, and establish themselves in the top flight and fluke their way to the semi finals of the FA Cup via a third penalty shoot out win in a row.

A great signing, they did a lot of work in that £150 million a
season and squeaked into 17th didn't they?

Nuno is a solid pair of hands and has made them effective

We have been Kompanied really, albeit I do think it's been a tougher league than normal this year

They went nuclear and broke the rules, I get it but you also can’t argue with their recruitment, especially once they stayed up. Considering they’ve been out longer than us they absolutely nailed many international signings (some for a fair bit less than we have paid for young Championship English players). Hopefully we are working our scouting network as a priority, if there is a next time.

They have a lot in common with us I’d say

Fanbase size (bigger city than our town but we have a bigger catchment area)
Stadium
History
Length out of top flight.

Ipswich and Forest are extremely similar clubs.

In fact, I can't think of a more similar club.

Exactly! Even mirrored similar attendances to us in the endless champ years.

Maybe the FEC back in the day set them apart though!

If cheating is your definition of a proper club, then yes I suppose they are. Not that it’s the fans fault of course. There needs to be a clear distinction between the club ownership who chose to cheat and the fans who have to put up with with the consequences (if there are any meaningful ones).

Bournemouth and Leicester both much worse cheats and both somehow got away with barely a slap on the wrist.

At least Forest have tradition and history and good support.

Agreed. And I’ve no issue with the supporters. They’re just the victims (as we were under Evans but for different reasons).

Despite a bit of an overspend, I’m curious about how they had such a good scouting network after being out so long. Is it do to ownership that are involved with other European clubs and what not?
