They went nuclear and broke the rules, I get it but you also can’t argue with their recruitment, especially once they stayed up. Considering they’ve been out longer than us they absolutely nailed many international signings (some for a fair bit less than we have paid for young Championship English players). Hopefully we are working our scouting network as a priority, if there is a next time.
They have a lot in common with us I’d say

They went nuclear and broke the rules, I get it but you also can’t argue with their recruitment, especially once they stayed up. If cheating is your definition of a proper club, then yes I suppose they are. Not that it’s the fans fault of course. There needs to be a clear distinction between the club ownership who chose to cheat and the fans who have to put up with with the consequences (if there are any meaningful ones). |  |

Despite a bit of an overspend, I’m curious about how they had such a good scouting network after being out so long. Is it do to ownership that are involved with other European clubs and what not? | | | |
