I know that the club have eyes on here so it will save me from emailing and it turn give other TW4TDERS the chance to add their view.

I've spent £100's this year on the grandkids - from rucksacks, training jackets, hoodies and accessories (loads of water bottles) and I have to say the quality is terrible.

To be fair the kit seems ok.

Sort it out team.

Yep - the water bottle that came as part of the Junior Blues pack started leaking after a couple of uses.

I do worry that it's now becoming a conscious decision by the club to move towards low-quality high-profit tat.

The range of commemorative pieces to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Town winning the league was a case in point - just low-quality tat with the relevant branding added to it.

A lot of Town merchandise has always been very lazy, template stuff with very little "Ipswich" about it, other than a cheaply printed Ipswich badge added on. Quick quid mentality, whereas if you go to big clubs' shops they genuinely have a lot more cooler stuff, and they do a lot more to celebrate their history and monetize it. You can't even get a Blu-ray of our back-to-back promotions, for example.

Assuming this is not a budgie troll (maybe giving you too much credit), why do you even support Ipswich if you hate everything about us?

Whatever their other points of view, SWB has a point.

ITFC must be a sales department's wet dream when it comes to marketing generic blue tat with an ITFC badge stuck on it, as the club seems to sign off on anything passed its way. The various BRXLZ kits, the 'IpsWicks' candles, and 'Sammi the Squid' ( https://shop.itfc.co.uk/products/sammi-the-squid) seem to be a particular nadir.

Similarly, there does seem to be a dearth of decent quality stuff. The promotion books, albeit a nice memento, were template efforts that are clearly flogged to any club that's had a decent season, whereas I'd have happily paid good money for a BluRay covering the successes of 2022-2024.

Do other clubs have such wide-ranging collections of throwaway tat?

I challenge anyone to check this fella out and not think someone at the club needs locking up.
