"as well as live music, dance, alcohol sales and late night refreshments"

I think that is dancing around the ring, which is what i believe boxers do to try and not get punched. Not sure they need the alcohol bit. Boxing crowds aren't known for wanting alcohol. Sure soft drinks would have been fine. Live music.......a certain Mr Sheeran? There, I called it first. Or the Cheeky Girls, don't mind which.

The alcohol bit might just be part of it as an entertainment license, so they can set up a bar and allow people to drink on the pitch, gets around the law banning drinking within sight of the pitch during football.

I mean i was drinking beer watching the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the pitch, but they probably applied for a specific license for the event, sure the bar was on the practice pitch actually, but plastic bottles/cups only.

If I was in the cheap seats I'd be wanting beer to drink to watch a fight.

When REM played Portman road, I certainly had a few beers on the pitch!
