If this is genuinely the plan of record and there is no reason to suspect otherwise, this is important for continuing the build that’s been happening off and on pitch by, 1) supporting retention of existing high potential talent rather than them looking elsewhere over the next weeks, 2)supporting early identification of new players for this summer, and 3) means we retain a great coaching now with a better handle on what’s required to both succeed in the Champ and the PL. Great news, and will help ensure disruption this summer is minimised.
