Don't know who has seen this, but, Athletic Bilbao were, in my opinion, denied a perfectly good goal last night when VAR got involved and ruled there was a Rangers handball immediately before and ended up awarding a pen instead of the goal.
From the resulting penalty, the Rangers keeper saved, but why did VAR get involved at all, surely VAR can play an advantage can they not?
Link below, it's barely enough to change the flight of the ball too. Seem VAR is ripe for corruption to me.
Because the ball rebounds off the keeper and hits the attacker’s arm before the rebound is slotted home. You can’t score a goal as a direct result of a handball regardless of whether it was deliberate. Therefore the goal could not stand and they did not gain an advantage, so the play was pulled back for the penalty.
Had the ball not struck and attacker’s arm then the goal would have stood.

Incorrect, the goal was disallowed for offside.
Hence, they then looked at the handball by the defender and gave a penalty.
