Well I guess not so quietly today. We have got a lot of our points with him playing in front of Axel this season. Set up one, scored one, corners decent and a great ball into Hirst second half as well.

He had a mare against Bournemouth. Gave the ball away far too many times, including at the edge of our box near the end of the game. However, somebody pointed out at the time that it must be a thankless task to be selected for one game in eight and expected to be on the same wavelength as your teammates in the toughest league in the world. With this recent run of games, perhaps (hopefully) we're now seeing his true worth. Today he was exceptional.

Leaving aside different views about Johnson's ability and past form, one has to say that his pull-back for the first goal was excellent, and he did very well for his goal by heading the ball where the goalkeeper wouldn't have expected it and so couldn't save it.
