I'm fully prepared to be corrected, because I only watched the first half hour, but the early impression I got was that the two sides were miles below the quality of Arsenal and PSG, and the quality of the game was more a result of the teams being evenly matched and a poor standard relative to the state of the competition they were playing in.
The first two goals for example just seemed to be rank bad defending.
I think the recent popular view that the EPL is boring and sterile is because teams are just so well organised. I thought Neville's comments after the Manc derby recently offered the biggest example of hypocrisy I've ever witnessed, having seen him so often slate how open and disorganized Man Utd have been in recent years, to then criticize them for not offering an entertaining game and for once being harder to beat, seemed very strange. |  |

Certainly. Arsenal have made light work of a lot of sides they've faced this season but PSG are ridiculous, a different level. I can't see anyone stopping them.
I don't think Arsenal played as well as they can though, they looked fearful certainly in the 1st half and unable to put a foot on the ball. Odegaard was anonymous and Saka had a decent 5-10 minute spell but was largely ineffectual aside from that. They didn't have a lot to turn to off the bench though. | | | |

While some might deride the Premier League, it's been incredibly successful in terms of attracting overseas viewers. Partly self fulfilling, as when a League gets richer, it can attract better players, but the pace & relative unpredictability have made it compelling. |  |
