Finishing is part of the performance - finishing like a team of 7 year olds at primary school goes towards the performance which has been shocking. Not looking up, not releasing the ball quickly, crap passing. Creating 20 shots and having about 2 on target is on par to the Maidstone game. | | | |

It’s probably the most dominant performance we’ve had all season with the exception of converting chances. I haven’t seen the post match interviews yet, but I expect KM will say he was pleased at how we took the game to them but rues missed Vance’s and defensive lapses (which are of course vital for the result). The performance was good, the execution at key moments not so good.

It’s probably the most dominant performance we’ve had all season with the exception of converting chances. Nah. That was as much as we’ve been in a game all season. Loads of chances, far more time in their box, etc. I’ve just watch KM’s interview and he’s right. We were the “better” team overall, creating far more. But you obviously have to take your chances and we didn’t so deservedly lost. I’ve never seen him so deflated, as he obviously thought that game was there for the taking given how we played.
It’s certainly not the worst performance of the season. [Post edited 18 May 20:51]

I didn’t say it was but we did not dominate them either. I expected us to be in the game plenty, just look at the opposition, that’s the reason for us being on the front foot at times.
We were taking pot shots, not moving it fast enough and too low on confidence to take advantage of any decent positions we found ourselves in.
In fact if you think it was our most dominant performance of the season that’s even greater course for concern considering we didn’t take advantage and will be playing these sides next season. | | | |
