Yeah, I was thinking that, but then you look at how well Inter and even Atalanta do in European competitions.
I think it really shows that the PL stockpiles all the best players and stifles a lot of their development.

But you are right about the lack of quality recruitment, Bruno aside how many of their first team would be first choice in the top 4 PL sides. Zirkzee and Holjland for example look fairly limited players. | | | |
