I mean that’s not really how bookmaking works tbf It’s factored in who’s likely to be having good transfer windows and who isn’t. Hence why Birmingham are 10/1 on the chance they sign half the premier league.

We are favourites for the title next season on 22:13 - May 25 with 391 views | TheBlueGnu | Interesting. It aint gonna be easy. We went into the Championship last time on the back of a winning mentality, we go into it this time on the back of a serious losing mentality. Hope the mentality can be flushed out in time and we hit the ground running. We might need assistance from Nigel Havers. I think Birmingham should be closer to 6/1 - I'm sure that Geoffrey Whitehead would agree with me.

Naaaridge will be much nearer bottom 6 than top 6. Finish above Sheff Utd and we will go up I reckon.

We are favourites for the title next season on 06:38 - May 25 by Chrisd | Never great when we are favourites, we seem to struggle generally when we have this label hanging over us. |
That’s my thinking,I’d take playoffs next season.

We are favourites for the title next season on 05:14 - May 26 with 247 views | IPS_wich | We should be - our recruitment strategy always had an eye on bouncing straight back. Assuming we sell Delap, Davis and Hutchinson, plus lose Burgess and Tuanzebe - then this is our starting XI before we even sign someone: Palmer/Walton Johnson/Clarke - O'Shea/Woolfie - Greaves - Townsend Morsy - Taylor Philogene/Ogbene - Szmodics/Chaplin - Clarke/Broadhead Hirst It all comes down to who we sign to play central midfield and to battle with Hirst for the #9 shirt - because the rest of that team is filthy good for the Championship. We should have plenty of money from player sales and parachute payments to potentially upgrade the full backs as well - although I would have no issue if we started the season with Johnson and Townsend. The issue is that very few from this team have shown they can perform at Premier League level - so ultimately we need at least 9-10 new players if our goal is to bounce back and then stay up.

I love how the narrative has changed on our poor recruitment for the premier league to "we've recruited for the championship".
