So, farewell then Premier League 08:56 - May 25 with 727 views | Pendejo | Hopefully it's a"see you later" rather than final good bye. What have we learned ? A perceived VAR bias; only way to confirm is to take all decisions across all matches A new found respect for Bournemouth; they're competitive on sub-12,000 crowds, recruitment and coaching clearly excellent (see also any club with sub40,000 stadium finishing above Manure, Spuds and Wet Spam) We weren't; good enough, ready Before Christmas many sliding doors moments, after, we seemed to be trying to rival our 94/95 incarnation. But still 22-24 has that warm glow in my heart, a never to be experienced again (by me at least) period of excitement, optimism and full houses at PR. In fact it's (EPL) probably enhanced that memory. Lack of ballot success and failing fastest fingers first test means far fewer home games attended than expected, but now well over 30 away points. I will set off in about half an hour, visit my father, take oldest son for a birthday lunch, then attend the last EPL game at PR of this season, home form has been shocking. Naturally I therefore expect us to win, and with a core of the B2B team playing. Then we say goodbye to Massimo, there lots of interesting stats to be had about his second spell here. Forget stats, boy was that a ride! COYB ITID

So, farewell then Premier League on 10:04 - May 25 with 615 views | Churchman | We came up short in every regard really. Crowds? Muff could play in front of nobody and be better than us and every non PL team. It’s tv money, bankrolling billionaires, Arab countries etc that counts - and that’s a great sadness to me. But it is what it is. I’ll be honest - I’ve found the EPL interesting but I’ve not enjoyed it. We’ve not been competitive enough, despite looking promising at the start of the season. As you say, all a bit too soon. But there’s lots to gain if the lessons are learned. After McCarthy was left scraping under the bargain bins unsupported by Evans ten years ago, I thought that was chance gone. I never expected to see us in the EPL again. In fact I thought Championship was a stretch given the hollowing out and decay of the club. L1 then L2 and beyond looked inevitable. The death of the club. Now I hope and expect us to see the Premier League again. Maybe not next season, but soon. That’s how things have changed. Onwards and upwards. COYB
So, farewell then Premier League on 13:02 - May 25 with 478 views | RegencyBlue | The main takeaway from this season is that there is a massive gap between a top Championship player and even a very average PL player. The physicality of the PL has been a real eye opener. Expected that from the top five or six but it’s every PL team now. If we manage to get back quickly we are going to have to do something very different recruitment wise!
So, farewell then Premier League on 13:38 - May 25 with 419 views | ArnieM | The level of "gamesmanship" ....I call it plain, old fashioned cheating, because that's what is, has been the biggest disappointment for me and the clear bias by officials on and off the pitch toward the established clubs. Not for me thanks. I won't miss it.

It’s been a nothing season for me. No games in god knows how many years, ever probably. Not even easy to watch on TV due to all the daft kickoff times. Good riddance. I’d like the club to be in the PL doing well, for them and all the regulars, but for selfish reasons the Championship and L1 suited me much more.

I trust that means no complaints from you if we are not promoted next season.
