Obviously matchday superstitions haven't worked very well this season. I always make sure I wear blue underpants/boxers on matchdays (not necessarily the same ones, and always clean!). What are your matchday superstitions, and will you be keeping them next season?

I have 2.

I always wear the scarf I got for my birthday when I was 10 or 11. I'm 54 now!!!
Even in the hot summertime games I take it!

I always enter through the same turnstile. It was 34 for years, then they changed it for entry to NSU only.
I now only use 29.

Daft innit?!?

I revived an old superstition from ITFC in Premier league.

When we played Liverpool I ate Everton mints.

(Didn't help though)

My successful match day routine this season was not attending.

I was unable to attend the Chelsea match as I was very ill. So I missed the one bright spot in a dismal season at home.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Ah-ha!

So the "sickness in the camp" was a reference to you rather than the players.

On reflection, one slight relief from this painful season has been I’ve been able to shake superstitions. I usually go through a thing of “these are the clothes I wore and we won, so I have to wear them again” or parking in a certain place, or my son wearing one of his town tops, or the route I drive to the game. None of it has fvckin worked this year!!! So I’ve been released from it a bit, as I should do being a56 yr old “adult”……..until next season and we win 2 games on the bounce when I am wearing a certain coat….

... or we don't win and you feel the need to go back to whatever you were doing in League 1 or the Championship. I know I will.

I always pay Sir Alf Ramsey's right foot.
Judging by how worn it has, I'm not the only one!

I had a routine that worked perfectly in Championship. In the prem nothing worked so gave up, not sure what I'll do next season now!
