Walked past the other day and couldn't remember the name of the pub back in the day (early 90s) - remember it as a spit n saw dust pub, lovely location.
Quick google talks about "Cobbold on the quay" which I don't remember at all.
So either there was more than one pub down there - or my memory is just rubbish...

Edit: Think I've sussed it - The Malt Kiln became Cobbolds on the Quay - and then became Isaacs.

It was the Blue Riband before it was Spuds. Spent many summer evenings outside the Malt Kiln. Great place, great memories. |  |
