Interesting court ruling in the good ole USA:

https://news.sky.com/story/us-trade-court-blocks-donald-trump-from-imposing-swee

From BBC:
‘Trump has not yet commented directly on the court ruling but has posted memes on his Truth Social platform that may allude to the announcement. One black and white image, apparently created with AI, shows the president walking towards the camera with the words "HE'S ON A MISSION FROM GOD & NOTHING CAN STOP WHAT IS COMING".Another image of a billboard says "PRESIDENT TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING".’

This battle isn’t going to go away any time soon. He will have to take power away from congress, muzzle the judiciary and control the press. He believes he is god’s deliverer. Even his media platform is called social truth. He is never wrong and surrounded himself with flunkeys that will only ever agree with him. Those who don’t are enemies to be disposed of.

Donald blowhard is as nutty as squirrel sht.

His grounds that it's a national emergency is rubbish so the court ruling makes sense.
Won't stop the MAGA morons going after the judiciary though.

It could well be crunch time.

He accepts it or doubles down against the judiciary, which is essentially a huge jackboot step into all out authoritarianism and fascism.

I think it's more likely that he pipes down and uses the judiciary as fodder when his presidency inevitably makes most Americans worse off and weakens their international standing. He cares about his own image more than actually getting stuff done.

He's been handing out pardons to criminals like confetti so they're already well on the way to Banana Republic territory.

"It is not for unelected judges to decide how to properly address a national emergency," White House deputy press secretary Kush Desai said in a statement.

"President Trump pledged to put America First, and the administration is committed to using every lever of executive power to address this crisis and restore American greatness," he added."

What national emergency is that Kush? The entirely manufactured one that the administration is trying to use to railroad through anything it wants?

Yeah this is actually quite a good ‘get out’ for him. Avoid the economic pain and market turbulence of severe tariffs, and blame the ‘establishment’ for attacking democracy (or something like that). Even though this is a good example of democracy and checks and balances in action.

I believe the phrase is 'DEEP STATE' (or perhaps 'RADICAL LEFT'). Note the use of all caps.

One of the "unelected judges" was actually appointed by Trump himself.

There is no national emergency. Just somebody seeking control through lies, blackmail, fear and extortion.

Hitler declared war on a country after the SS staged Gleiwitz incident in 1939. According to Wiki:

‘To make the attack seem more convincing, the Gestapo executed Franciszek Honiok, a 43-year-old unmarried Upper Silesian, Catholic farmer, known for sympathising with the Poles. He had been arrested the previous day by the Gestapo and dressed to look like a saboteur, then rendered unconscious by an injection of drugs, then killed by gunshot wounds.

Honiok was left dead at the scene so that he appeared to have been killed while attacking the station. His corpse was then presented to the police and press as proof of the attack. Several prisoners from the Dachau concentration camp were drugged, shot dead on the site and their faces disfigured to make identification impossible.

The operation was intended to create the appearance of a Polish aggression to justify the invasion of Poland. France and Britain declared war on Germany in accordance with Polish agreements. Hitler could therefore declare that the Reich was once again under attack and just defending itself. There are some that believe the lies to this day.

Strangely, the same type of narrative is used by Trump today over Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine started the war. Their leader is unelected, Russia is the victim defending its rights.

Internally, the US is under economic attack from evil foreign powers the EU and China in particular and has the right in an emergency to defend itself. The President has the exclusive right to defend his beleaguered country from invaders, those out to steal from the US, judges and evil anti US media.

It’s paranoid madness from a bloke who ought to be in a rubber room.
