Why would they be out of interest. I’ve never understood the Pakistan link. Her parents are Bangladeshi, so that’s where here potential dual citizenship ship lies (I’m not sure whether she ever claimed dual citizenship before she was 21, the deadline). Bangladesh split from Pakistan well before she was born. |
I didn't know there was a Pakistan link. I just think once we start playing games it opens up other countries to do the same to us.
Countries have ambassadors in other countries. I find it hard to believe Pakistan have not spoken to their ambassador who will be fully aware of the Begum case.
I don't think much happens internationally that isn't seen by most other countries. Maybe it's not fed back to the country unless it's relevant but I think things like that will always be noted. |  | | |
