Im watching 28 days later. Saw it years ago, but the new sequel intrigued me so I thought Id go back. Really very good indeed. Probably underappreciated it at the time.
So - best apocalyptic film, zombies or otherwise. And why?

I am legend is not quite a remake of The Omega Man but based on the same book. |
..and wasn't that a remake too ?
On "I am legend" the theatrical release ending is (for me) weaker than the alternative ending ...it doesn't really show off the title of the film in it's true glory. |  |
