Watch his Sky interview and you might change your mind .
Robbie Savage on 12:06 - Jul 1 with 1068 views | Vaughan8 | Not sure i've ever heard anyone say Savage speaks well. From his childish "banter" with Chris Sutton, to his annoying commentary on Man Utd Europa league games, i'd guess you're in the minority! [Post edited 1 Jul 12:06]

I was going to say, it was hard to hear what he was saying during those games with his tongue so far up "Rio's" arse.

You mean the short Sky interview today, the interview from March when he is talking about how much rebuilding Macclesfield means to him (followed by signing a new contract with them), or his 7 minute monologue on Silkmen TV today . . . talks a lot but actually says very little of interest or value. "I was unpaid for 4 years", "I was the whole football dept" etc etc, he is in danger of disappearing up his own backside. It's all about him, proving people wrong apparently. Certainly does not change my mind

Robbie Savage on 17:13 - Jul 1 with 324 views | BlueandTruesince82 | I've always liked Robbie. Yes he's bit of a wally in some ways but hes never been afraid to laugh at himself, the persona etc. But what I really like about him is he recognised, and still does, that he wasn't a great footballer. He understood how hard he needed to work to be successful in the game, he focused on his best attributes, being tough, being niggling, being difficult to play against, worked on them and made the most of them. There was no entitlement to him, its very easy when you're the best kid at school and even more so when you get picked up young, esp by a club like Utd, to expect a career. He never did, he knew he needed to different becsues he wasn't as good as many kids in that academy, he found a way to do that and had a long and decent career, probably better than players that should have done more than him. I like that. Hes done a lot for Macclesfield, I think the supporters would agree with that, he's helped build that club from ashes, fair play to him I say.
