...always found it a bit odd even seeing couples wearing matching jackets (for example)

However, spotted a couple crossing a road who had gone the whole hog...matching walking boots and socks, tan shorts, hawaiian-type shirts, and topped off with cowboy hats and sunglasses. Was so shocked I almost knocked them over

I don't get out much, so don't know if this is a new trend or I just happened across a pair of oddballs...

Worried enough to Google it, and found out it is a thing (called "Twinning") - as someone whose last interest in fashion was getting a pair of Farah's in my last year of primary school in the early 80's, would explain why I'm oblivious to these trends...

Saying that, I was in a Spanish airport and a man was wearing a T-shirt with ‘I love my wife’ on it. The woman next to him was wearing a T-shirt with ‘I love my husband’ on it. I thought that was a bit strange - now, they could’ve been complete strangers and the T-shirts were a complete coincidence. But I think not.

Also could have been heading off for a quick dirty weekend fling, and wanted to remind eachother it was just going to be one-off...
