It was a stupid challenge by the defender. She gave the ref an opportunity to make a decision. One of those ones that looks naff in slow motion, but you can see it as fine in full speed. Refs don't generally like giving them ones, but once she gave it as a foul it was always going to turn into a pen. |  | | |

If that’s a pen, we may as well start off each match with a couple of pens each just to get them out of the ref’s system. A very bizarre decision and never a pen. It shouldn’t end up being controversial though, as on paper Wales should get spanked.

I can't say I agree with that stance, if it's not a foul, it's not a stupid challenge. I really can't stand the phrase "gave the ref an opportunity", an opportunity for what? To make a wrong decision?

We didnt deserve teh win, but the 2nd french goal was a clear foul ignored by var, and some of the decisions were awful. Mead bursting through with no foul at all etc. |
