So by your words, KmK doesn’t understand football.
KMc knows more about the game than any of us.
But I'm talking in it's most exaggerated form. People who just use stats as a justification to analyse a player/team, have no real understanding how to analyse football really.
Take a look at the below clip and skip to 9:35 where Leif Davis talks about Philogene's impressive running power and work rate.
Broadhead for all his merits really isn't a physical player, he reminds me a bit of David McGoldrick which is no bad thing of course. Much like McGoldrick, if he had more physicality there's no doubt in my mind he'd be a comfortable PL player for the majority of his career.
To be honest, it just seems like you've made your mind up on Philogene based on very little (you're not alone on that). As StokieBlue rightly pointed out, the attacking output argument really doesn't stack up either.
As you're so convinced that Broadhead is the "number one operator from the left", I'd like to know where Szmodics ranks as he's superior off the ball and last time out in the Championship scored 27 goals. Appreciate at the moment he may be earmarked for a central role, but he's very much in contention for the left sided role IMO, especially if Hutchinson stays.
Szomdics brilliant as well, big fan of him. Although he didn't play in the position I think he will for us as he did for Blackburn.
But he's aggressive, he's technical, he's physical, and a goalscorer - will be a huge boost to keep him fit for the season.
Szmodics in the left role & CAM role, given his versatility and the rotation we will likely use throughout the season.

That's just my opinion.
I would argue that someone saying the following can't analyse football:
"Philogene is about 3 stone, he has no physical presence, he's not quick, he's not explosive"
Philogene is about 3 stone, he has no physical presence, he's not quick, he's not explosive, he's currently nothing like the physical profile you'd want.

It is pretty unbelievable how you completely disregard anybody's reply that displays evidence about his physical attributes.
Just look at Joe's reply as an example.
Doesn't surprise me though as you seem to always form opinions without watching said player e.g. calling Guiu "raw" even though a poster explained many times why he shouldn't be considered "raw".

Stats can't tell you anything better than your eyes can ever tell you. I watch a player, and I can form an opinion based on what I see, not what stats I see.

Tell that to all the top clubs round the world who uses data boards to help form opinions on signings then!
