Woolfie has asked McKenna to leave, can’t say I blame him for his career sake but definitely sad a homegrown lad is off!

He’s pure profit. A £7 million sale can leverage a much bigger purchase in the short term. And/or all go straight to this years bottom line.

We’d likely want him and Broadhead to go, and Hutchison (financially).

Suddenly we’re within touching distance of the £100 million player sales Gamechanger promised.

New ownership in August/September hopefully.

The P&L situation needs some clarity, and we need a longer term vision.

Except there was no promise. Try harder.

Nope. £2 million - https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luke-woolfenden/profil/spieler/527425

And going by your posts, we should sell Hutch for £19m

He's not good enough to start in this Championship team.

Agreed, but I can think of a stronger back line in this division. He’d walk into most teams and is self-evidently good enough for a promotion winning team. He’s ridiculous quality for a backup and given the length of season I hope he stays. We’ll struggle to find better.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I think that's one of two issues his departure will raise.

1) We'll struggle to find better. Who, of his quality, is going to come here knowing they're a back up option who won't even make the bench if everyone's fit?
2) His departure means Humphreys, if I understand it correctly, will have to be part of the 25 man squad if we want to name nine subs

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

That was an article from the Mirror. Read the post, not just the title.
