Ankle ligaments can be anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months depending on the extent of the injury. The club won't even know how bad it is yet as he won't have had a scan at this point. |
And the evidence we do have is that Townsend was on crutches whereas Philogene wasn't. So I'm not sure the distinction in the OP is justified on the evidence that is available in any event. |  | | |

The club medical team allowed him to walk on it after the game, rather than putting him in a boot or on crutches. That suggests more of an impact injury than strain, so unlikely to be months, days to weeks probably. |  | | |

I wouldn’t, oversight in the OP, didn’t really think about him. Would not register him either, would look at a PL loan there.

Townsend was his knee, someone said boot and crutches, but that can sometimes be overkill and be out of them pretty quickly. He had a knee problem at WBA, was out for 6 weeks at the time,
The fear is he’s done something similar to H.Clarke with his knee and is out for a much longer time, again think he’ll be long term. | | | |

Yes there’s information, he’s injured, and it doesn’t look a good one.
I don’t know why some are getting worked up over posting opinions and speculations when it’s what over half of this forum board is about - whether it be KMc thoughts, Omari situation, signings, Hackney, Cajuste of anything else.
