Birmingham arrogance 02:44 - Aug 10 with 1013 viewsstiff_talking

Birmingham fans really believe they are so good. They have a long way to fall. Putting us down yet in same conversation saying if they can play better than Ipswich they are a top team!
Awful long way to go !

To be fair, there were plenty of Town fans giving it the big’n before kick off etc. Plenty of tweets bookmarked.

100 points, 100 goals & HMS p!ss the league and more.

I very rarely care about the other team, focusing only on Town.
But I made an effort to watch them a bit more Friday. Huffed and puffed, very intense, but when it came to quality of play, I just didn’t really see it. They tried at times, but a 5/6/7 passing move seemed to end up with a throw in.

Probably be pushing for a PO place

We’ll be good again... one day

exactly we only have to look in the mirror to how some of our fans have been this last week, to see Birmingham fans could equally believe we're a bunch of arrogant numpties too if they only took a few examples to heart.

aiui from actually engaging with them in conversation face to face, they saw us as a bona fide Premier league team, up there with the midtable teams at least, we finished near Spurs and Man Utd after all...as opposed to a Championship team who went upto the Premier league for a season and didnt win many games, unsurprisingly they hadnt paid much attention to our season or how it went in detail, they just knew we'd been up there.

so the fact they were bossing us around for most of the game, or the fact some of us actually saw this as a tricky hard game for us, to them is like wow Brum must be Premier League quality to take on the might of Ipswich like this and not where they might have seen themselves after their promotion as trying to find where they sit in the Championship again.

Im sure come season end the table wont lie, but different perspectives do help.
