Just a little reminder for Omari and his agent… on 09:44 - Aug 13 with 872 views | Mullet | Broadhead refusing to play last night seems to be going unnoticed too. We have a bit of a rift in the squad and some gaps that need filling and smoothing over.

Just a little reminder for Omari and his agent… on 07:16 - Aug 13 by LancsBlue | Does Hutchinson think that any potential buyers are going to be impressed by his attitude? Likely to put them right off I would have thought. |
No chance, they'll all know that the game's the game and agents getting players to kick up a stink to force a move is all part of it unfortunately.

Isak seems to be behaving even worse and he'll be moving for £100m+ shortly

Yup, what with the result, the Al-Hamadi miss/penalty and then the Omari news, that has definitely gone under the radar. Can we just cut the cr4p with the whole ‘throat infection and calling in sick’ lark and call it for what it is, players refusing to play for this football club. If you want out, then off you go.

Not Broady’s fault, his Mum made him do it with help from his bad horrid agent.

Would you be prepared to accept a lower bid in that case?

Not as simple as off you go though is it? I agree - the club shouldn't protect him. If he's refusing to play stil lat this point then call it what it is. However, if waiting earns us say £5m more, it isn't Monopoly money - it pays off a good chunk of Matusiwa for example. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It seems to me that a deal is pretty much agreed and has somewhat been put on hold because of other issues elsewhere - Hutchinson refusing to play and Philogenes injury - but if Broadhead is too 'ill' to play, and has stated he wants to leave also, then isn't it best for both parties to just cut the chord and see the move go through?

Broadhead HAS made himself available, despite a good offer to go to his boyhood club. He's probably noticed all the kind words from KM has said about Omari with his head not being in the right place the the sore throat and got slightly pissed off. [Post edited 13 Aug 11:31]

Well can you blame him when he sees how Omari is being treated and Broady played against Birmingham? Let him go for that kind of money now that we have Akpom (although I'm sad to see him leave) and for Omari - he's 21, let him train with his equals for a bit, see how they're doing.

if his only reason for playing last night was petty jealousy about omari, that doesn't excuse it in any way! he hasn't even got omari's age as a contributory factor

Not at all. It was made quite clear to him last year he was surplus to requirements but still put in 100% when called upon. [Post edited 13 Aug 11:32]

It's not jealousy - it's why I would risk an injury when he's not? Age becomes a counter-factor then Not that we should've needed any of them two to beat Bromley mind you

Just a little reminder for Omari and his agent… on 08:22 - Aug 13 by LeoMuff | Yep, I really hope he is being heavily fined for this, I can’t see why not. |
I doubt it, in a way he is a victim of the club trying to extort maximum value out of him which is what the club have to do. Brentford ummed and argghed for a while, Forest are late to the game and are in early stages of negotiation and it could be that 35m is their maximum, while we see it as his minimum and are pushing for 40m; which is illogical if he has been available for 35m and did not get many enquiries. He has been hung out to dry with the wranglings between his agent and clubs. And also by McK to an extent in his open and honest way. Feel sorry for Omari. It kind of shows that unlike Delap, clubs are at best luke-warm about him. He might need to come crawling back if all his avenues close.
